Ingredients
- 1 kg Skinless Salmon Fillets
- 300 g Uncooked Quinoa
- 720 ml Water or Low-Sodium Fish Broth
- 200 g Diced Zucchini
- 150 g Chopped Broccoli Florets
- 100 g Frozen Peas
- 15 ml Coconut Oil ((1 tbsp))
- 2 g Dried Dill ((optional))
Instructions
- Collect all ingredients before you start preparing the recipe

- Rinse the quinoa thoroughly. In a medium pot,combine the quinoa and water broth. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover,and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and let it sit, covered, for 5 more minutes. Fluff with a fork.
- While the quinoa cooks, steam the diced zucchini and broccoli florets until tender, about 8-10 minutes. Add the frozen peas in the last 2 minutes to thaw.
- Place salmon fillets on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake at 190°C (375°F) for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Let cool, then use your fingers to check for and remove any small bones. Flake the meat into small pieces.
- In a large bowl, gently combine the cooked quinoa, flaked salmon, and steamed vegetables. Stir in the coconut oil and dried dill (if using). Allow to cool completely before serving or portioning.
- Divide into daily servings based on your dog's weight and activity level.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or freeze portions for up to 3 months.
